Review on Camco Brass Water Pressure Regulator with Gauge - Safeguard RV Plumbing & Hoses from High-Pressure City Water - Easy-to-Read Gauge, Lead Free (40064) by Yung Rich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Has been protecting my trailer pipes for three years now, good fit

This has been protecting my fragile RV water pipes for over three years now. I found the quality of the thread, the workmanship and the strength to be relatively high and I had no problems with the thread running out. I love how the pressure gauge lets me see exactly where I am when the water pressure hits the trailer. I like it a lot more than gaugeless regulators because I believe there is no need to guess or compromise on something as important as the integrity of my trailer's water system. I've used this at various connection points to adjust the water pressure. In general, the pressure created on the object will determine where the gauge reads, and it will usually read in the mid to low green range. Sometimes when you start the water in the RV it will turn yellow. I think this is near perfect as it tells me that the stress on my flimsy plastic RV pipes and fittings is minimal while still providing water pressure for all the trailer needs including enough for a shower.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Disappearing
