It holds the "plug-ins " so they never fall out again.

We live in a house that dates back to 1888. Although some of the electrics have been upgraded I love using these adapters so I can be sure they won't fall out like they often do without this one do some nifty thing that screws right into the platelet screw. It is necessary to have two prongs in the three prong wall ready to accommodate new electrical equipment. Perfect!
