I like hard rubber vinyl fans. They are durable and have good insulation. I've mostly ordered these for an elderly relative who had a house built in the 1930's and used cheap plastic adaptors. I threw away so many of the cheap, damn unsafe ones I found and warned her never to use that cheap crap again, only the good ones I had given her.

I have an old house so all outlets are 2 pin so I always use these things for my appliances and appliances that are newer than my house. The ones in the discounter are not durable and constantly fall out of the socket. It's great and they stay in the plug, the only thing I really don't like is that they are so small nothing fully plugs in and I'm afraid I'll get electrocuted.

We live in a house that dates back to 1888. Although some of the electrics have been upgraded I love using these adapters so I can be sure they won't fall out like they often do without this one do some nifty thing that screws right into the platelet screw. It is necessary to have two prongs in the three prong wall ready to accommodate new electrical equipment. Perfect!

These grounding adapters are ideal for replacing 4-pin plugs with 2-pin plugs. They are easy to use and easy to store, just tie unused items together and keep them in a tool box or other type of box. This is the second time I have ordered these plug adapters and they are superb to use and I am sure I will have reason to order another set in the future. If you need such an adapter, you can't go wrong with this one!

This product is a fire hazard! The adapter is not deep enough to connect 3-wire cables. This leaves the metal exposed and I could see small children or pets getting in trouble! Because the computer cable can't be fully inserted, I also accidentally hit it and lost all power. Thank goodness there are autosave features! We strongly recommend AVOIDING this product. I gave it 2 stars because I can keep my computer running until a new set arrives from another seller.

This product does what it is designed to do. Much safer than using a broken extension cord without a grounding pin. Just. Do not do that. Seriously, don't. If you need a three-prong extension but are stuck with two-prong sockets, just use one of those. It's reasonable. If you want to be sure that it actually grounds the connected device, always install it where the metal tab touches the screw in the panel. If you are concerned that it is not making enough contact with the screw, simply bend the
