I think this would be a good three season duvet as it is too hot for summer. But for you it depends on the climate you live in, the temperature you maintain in your home and your personal preferences. I got this for a duvet but matching pillows are a plus. I like that there are no frills, everything is simple and functional. If you want and are creative, you can dress them up. Great for your new college dorm. Recommended!
