It helps me very well with a variety of work tasks, including casual video editing and other image-intensive applications. It's not a professional media production monitor, so it's five times cheaper. But for everyday use and more it's been great for over a year. The menu buttons are fiddlier than they should be (like most), but colors are bright, brightness stands out when you want it, blacks are deep enough for most applications. The bezel is very thin, which I like, but it's silver, which I hate. The color is better dark to not stand out. Otherwise a good buy.
