First, this is a well-made monitor from ViewSonic. The image quality at native resolution is excellent. No weird color streaks like the first two D3ll monitors I bought. There is some backlight bleeding, but nothing serious for an IPS monitor. Unfortunately when I went with that as a replacement I went with the 2K 27" instead. I give it 4 stars because after almost 30 days it has a one pixel wide vertical red line. It was easy to replace (thanks Revain) and the next one had a light line about 3 feet to the left and a stripe maybe 2 inches wide, maybe 1 shade lighter than the screen. right out of the box. This discount 1440p monitor isn't as good as the Dell 1440p monitor I already had, but I needed it for work. The silver frame around the display is a bit annoying. The fact that you had to put all the associated technology on the front of the monitor probably has something to do with advertising, but they take up a third of the monitor's width. This is probably the best monitor I've bought in the last 5 years. I have Samsung and LG 4K UHD monitors, but this ViewSonic is sharper and brighter. It is difficult to find a 24 inch QHD IPS monitor on the market as IPS manufacturers are under the impression that every customer wants 27+ inches for 1440p. Some of us don't have such a desktop! Pixels per inch is what you need! I bought the 24" 1440 for one reason: pixel density. I'm not a gamer. For me it's all about legible screen fonts for easy reading. And the number of pixels per inch is what you need. The higher the pixel density , the sharper the writing.
