Review on ViewSonic VX2478 SMHD Frameless Widescreen DisplayPort 2560X1440P: 🖥️ An Immersive Visual Experience with Anti Glare and IPS Technology by Aaron Valdivia

I've always been a Viewsonic fan, but over the past few years, Asus has been hard to beat for value for money. This time I've decided to go back to Viewsonic for my new monitor. I would love to give this monitor 5 stars but I don't think 5 stars is the right way to describe how I feel. When I received and set up my monitor, I immediately noticed that it has a very noticeable "tilt" to say the least (see photo for this review). I went and set the bubble level on my desk, perfectly level, but there appears to be a factory kink/fault between the joint connecting the base to the monitor itself. If you're spending good money on a monitor, this shouldn't be a problem. Thankfully, Revain quickly sent me a replacement (thanks to Revain Gods) and got it right. Came new, no problems. Basically I am very satisfied! Pros: - Very affordable WQHD monitor - Very clear picture! - Lots of options to play with to customize your color preferences the way you like - Excellent pixel density - Built-in speakers are always good (although not much to write about) - Super light - Very bright colors, black is really black as is white white !- zero dead pixels (my first defective one didn't have one either) cons: - stood, so one and a half tragic, doesn't feel strong/solid. If I had to rate the stand on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 4. As with any company these days the quality control could be better. No DVI? I knew about this before buying, but still. No DVI, but there is "ancient" VGA, what madness is this. Overall I'm very happy for the price, this is a very affordable 2k monitor that really delivers. I was originally going to go with the 25 inch version of this monitor due to the high pixel density, but I'm very glad I didn't! step forward
