Slips and chops everything in its path! I really like using it to cut leather. I bought the 45mm after getting the 28mm and it's much better. I have attached photos to show the approximate depth of cut (in mm). I also played with it on plain paper, very nice. I used it to cut some sandpaper and really a bunch of things. I even used it to cut the tag off my shirt and it came out really well when I rolled it up right where I needed it! I'm having a hard time using anything else right now. Why use scissors when I can just cut whatever I want? For rough work it is very fast and accurate enough. A really versatile little tool. If you want to cut anything over 4-5mm I would definitely look for 45mm. Otherwise the smaller 28mm will fit you.
