This basket with special attachment is sold specifically for electric bikes. The first step in the installation guide is to remove the factory display from the bike and then install the basket. You must remove the factory display as the basket uses this space for its mounting and leaves no space (in my app) to reinstall the display. And whatever it is, the instructions don't mention resetting the factory display! I called tech support and tried different ways to get both to coexist but couldn't. I sent the basket back.
