We did not order this vacuum as our main vacuum. We have a third level that we almost never use and thought it would be a good way to keep it clean without going up and doing it ourselves. Yes, we are lazy. I think it would be great for older people because it has a remote control and no app to work with. It would definitely be better for my husband's parents as they are not people with smartphones. I personally miss the app. It's a lot easier to just pick up the phone and hit run than pick up the remote. Functionally, we do not have zigzags and space maps, as in the video. It seems that without the use of sensors it bumps too much. Now it's quite an open space for us and not very dirty. We mainly use it for dusting and only for cleaning if we ever use it upstairs. Whoever uses this in the main area will definitely mostly have to overcome obstacles and chords. I think for a budget robot it sucks well and is totally appropriate for the situation we are using it in. If you have a complex or large floor plan, you'll probably want to go upstairs. It would also be a great way to try a robotic vacuum in a confined space if you haven't used one in the past. I didn't use the wipe function because we don't have a suitable place upstairs.
