The best memory for a laptop.

Some reviews said it didn't work. You must first know the limitations of your machines and not confuse RAM. Install anyway. A matching set is best. This is the third machine I've installed 4 x 64GB sticks on. One in ASUS G751JY and G752VY and again in Dell P51. All work fine with lower latency than standard Samsung OEM modules that cost more. Anything over 2400MHz in a laptop is a waste of time as there is no option in the BIOS to set it and 2400 is the maximum. This will install SPD. The first start may take additional time during memory training. After that, it's smooth and easy. There are only two upgrades you can make to laptops, memory and drives. I recommend this memory for laptops. The ease of installation depends on the laptop. A lot of disassembly work is required to replace stock sticks in ASUS models, but there are many disassembly videos on You Tube. After you've made a few, this is a 10 minute development. The additional memory that can be installed under the user service panel is extremely simple. For IBM/Lenovo, remove the user cover, then 3 more screws hold the keyboard in place. Remove these screws, flip and push them back, and then pull the keyboard up. The ribbon cables do not need to be separated. Just fold the keyboard out of the way and the factory-installed memory is easily accessible. As previously mentioned, it is best to replace the entire stem with the same part number and preferably in one kit.
