I live in an apartment complex with shared laundry and suffer from BIG allergies. Other soaps and fabric softeners can easily give me hives and itching or shortness of breath; causes my asthma. To be honest, this thing saves lives. Other car cleaners have strong odors that are just as bad as what they are trying to clean. It smells nice, isn't too strong, disappears quickly, and doesn't soak into the clothes you wash after use. This system is a two-tier system. Step one is a machine powder cleaner. You need to tear open the bag and pour it into the washing machine drum, close the door and start the wash cycle. In fact, I put a little in the detergent and fabric softener dispensers and the rest in the drum to wash everything. The second step is also easy. The second package is a wet wipe. I use it to wipe down dryers that get wax out of the dryer sheet and when they are still damp I will use it to wipe down dispensers on washing machines again. To be honest, ever since I discovered this, my husband has been hooked. We used to have to wash towels with bleach. then my daughter's clothes and her sheets, then my husband's clothes, and then I wash mine and my sheets. Now we run that through the machine and we can mix up all the downloads and make big downloads that will end up costing us less money. Although I'm still hoping for a portable washing machine. I will still use it in this one if and when I get it.
