We bought the sofa and loveseat covers to protect our leather furniture from the dogs. The quality is decent and they are waterproof, which is what we wanted. They can also be thrown into the washer and dryer for routine cleaning. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is that they don’t have enough grip on the underside to stay in place (yes, I know leather is worst case).Every time a person or pet would sit down, the back of the cover would come down and the sides would pull in, resulting in a messy appearance and uncovered leather. Being an engineer I had to fix the problem. I installed 1/4” brass grommets in the corner of each flap (8 total) and used 1/4” elastic shock cords to loop around the legs, 33” in front and 40” long in back. Note: the polyester marine grade cord is preferred because it stretches more and will last longer.Now the covers stay neat and tidy with no need to keep straightening them out. We are happy campers again. Had the manufacturer done this to begin with I would rate the cover 5 stars.
