The idea of this design is great. It's portable, can charge two devices at the same time, and folds in multiple orientations for portability or watching videos on your phone. However, there are several serious problems. Firstly, the part where the electricity is connected to charge the airfields gets very hot. This heats up the Airpods case to a level that is probably too high for good battery health. The side of the Airpods stopped charging (and got cold after that) after about 3 weeks. So the thing broke after 3 weeks. The second problem is that the loop is made of a material that can stretch. Obviously the flex cable in the hinge cannot stretch and that's why I see the flex cable getting damaged over time. The hinge material must consist of a mechanically compatible inelastic material. It didn't just break for me because the circuit overheated and burned out before it could mechanically break. The idea was good but in the end its poor quality.
