I bought these gloves with one main purpose - to kill bed bugs. I'm very picky when it comes to mistakes. I have a problem with bed bugs in my garden and killing them by hand, crushing or plucking them off the plants and placing them in a bowl of soapy water has turned out to be my only solution (besides DE dust). The bugs are big and ugly and I couldn't bring myself to crush or rip them off with my regular gardening gloves. After careful research I decided on these gloves and they helped me a lot! Wearing gloves, I can confidently crush bugs with my fingers or drown them in soapy water while keeping my hands dry and protected. Now I also use them for watering the garden because they keep my hands clean and dry when I'm watering and removing the hose. Gloves aren't breathable and your hands will sweat and eventually smell, but it's worth it for nasty projects around the house.
