My son's HP Pavilion x360 14m-cd0003dx laptop screen broke after it was dropped on the floor. I was about to buy another laptop before I came across this one. I watched a video on youtube as shown in the description above and another to see how to get the battery out before replacing the display (this is important). It looked pretty easy and I decided to give it a try. Overall, I was able to swap out the display in about a couple of hours. A few notes on this: (1) Disconnecting and reconnecting flex cables is difficult and time consuming, (2) after powering on a laptop with a new display. It takes a while for the laptop to boot up as you get a BIOS checksum error (the display is expected to change). Press Enter and the laptop should restart, after which the display will work.
