Review on Experience Hi-Fi Amplification and Alexa Compatibility πŸ”Š with Denon DRA-800H Network Receiver for Home Theater by Avut Lapnan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I used it with Monitor Audio 200 and Technics SB-EX7 (vintage) speakers with the latter, the sound is generally good, I especially liked the bass. Those. the device loves high-quality acoustics, which is twice as expensive as the device itself, I think it will also play well with Dali, in terms of power it gives out real 100 watts on the 8th, on the 4th it gives out somewhere around 150W, Technics has a rating on the 4th -180W and their device is calm shook. The sound is similar to Marantz, but more dry, without embellishment, which is interesting, sound via HDMI gives out more interesting. than analog and optics. When I first turned it on, I immediately asked for an ate. Finally, via USB, it quietly plays a removable 1TB HDD formatted in the NFTS (or FAT32) system, earlier the devices had problems with this. I gave out the best sound via USB, playing DSD 5.6 MHz files (dsf, dff) [and a computer is not needed], I did not expect this here, I was a little shocked, I listened only to this format for the next week, although I have devices (Marantz SA8005 , Cambridge Audio Azur BD 751, OPPO UDP-203) that play HI-RES music. FLAC is no longer in favor. I compared it with the Marantz PM7005 amplifier (although it also has its strengths) in terms of sound almost on the same level. In general, I am very satisfied with the device both in terms of quality and price.

Pros
  • A very worthy device for the budget level, fully justifies its price, in general, Denon has recently been releasing very decent amplifiers and receivers for the budget level.
Cons
  • None at this price.
