Review on πŸ”§ GearWrench 16-Slot Reversible Wrench Rack - Model 83121 by Terrance Castle

Almost Perfect - Hand Tools

I love the Gearwrench key holder. Being able to flip the rails is a good thing. I prefer everything in one piece rather than buying individual rails and trying to line them up correctly. The only problem I had is what Gearwrench calls self-adjusting slots, there aren't enough smaller wrenches, but that doesn't bother. The slots for the rubber guides are very nice and more durable than the foam ones. With the exception of small key sizes (like 8mm) all keys are mostly snug, but not too tight if you have to hold the rack to get the key out. The other downside I have is that Gearwrench sells 22 and 24 piece combination wrench sets, but they only sell racks of 16 and 13 wedge wrenches, which is akin to a hot dog and hot dog bun puzzle. I can live with two wrenches in my desk drawer, but they look awful if not in a key rack. I have Gearwrench, Wera and Craftsman combi wrenches and ratchet combi wrenches and they all fit in the Gearwrench wrench rack.

Pros
  • combination wrenches
Cons
