I originally ordered my computer through a assembler as I was saving a lot of money on do-it-yourself assembly back then, upgraded my cooler and after cleaning my CPU found the cooler I was replacing lacked standard clips cooler AM4. Imagine my disappointment when I realized I didn't have the right attachments for my new Corsair cooler, which was already cased and ready to go. A quick search and I found this for $8. 2 days later I'm ready to go. I already had a metal backplate on my MOBO, so I just used brackets (yellow bits). Since everything else is black or red with me, I took the marker and darkened the clips and then mounted them. Easy as pie, everything fits and works great. Generally a good replacement for the original parts but they could probably be a different color as yellow is halt yech.
