Amazing Little Thing

I haven't used the program setup yet, but I'll update this review when I do. I'm just waiting for school to start and until then I'll gradually introduce a sleep pattern. First, I'm a coffee drinker. I drink a blonde roast and like it rather weak. I only started drinking coffee when I was studying, although I still had to work. This machine requires four tablespoons of ground coffee unless it is very fine. Today I put in two tablespoons and it was still too strong for me. If you like strong coffee, rejoice. The travel mug that coffee is brewed in is amazing. It's metal through and through, rather than having another material inside and a seam in between for mold to grow. If you've ever searched for travel mugs and read the reviews, you know what I'm talking about. The first day of using this coffee maker I had to pour half of the coffee into a cup because I forgot to leave enough space for the milk. Oops. The mug cooled relatively quickly, and I expected the same to happen to the mug. Not this case. After that it was still hot. Despite the heat of the coffee, it still felt chilly outside. The mesh basket is made of a material similar to a nut milk bag, and no amount of coffee grounds will get through. If you're a weary student looking for a coffee pot just for you, I can't recommend this enough! ***Update*** Oh my god. I completely forgot to update that. So, a few things: It comes with a shovel! I kept seeing this black plastic thing floating in the water tank and thought it was a water level sensor or something. In the end I decided to reach out and take it. It was an owl. Now I only use one of these scoops when making coffee and it's perfection. I used the program setting. He does exactly what he is supposed to. I can wake up to the sound and smell of freshly brewed coffee. I'm a lucky tourist. Oh, and somehow I don't hate coffee anymore. So yes, if you are just one person, buy it already. The only issue I had was the little foam leg falling off the bottom of the cup. Of course, that's probably because I throw the cup and filter in the dishwasher every now and then. But, you know what? He doesn't need that foam leg. The cup is fine without. Oh! And I've also used regular cups with it. Sometimes I just want a small cup of coffee and I put the cup that came with it in the dishwasher. Pouring a cup of water into the tank can be a little messy, but it works.
