Review on Dell S2316M 23-inch Widescreen Backlight Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Wide Screen, HD by Biswaroop Weckwert

The Dell S2316M is a great monitor if you're looking for one in the sub-$200 price range. The $167 glossy display has excellent color depth and the thin bezels make it look great! In my opinion, glossy displays are better than anti-glare/matte ones. I use this monitor for gaming, home work and general viewing - it performs well in all areas. I also overclocked the refresh rate to 70 Hz, but it doesn't allow for more. This is normal - most 60Hz monitors don't support more than 75Hz. If I could give it a 4.5/5 I would. My only minor criticism is the quality of the stand. No pan or height adjustment - only tilt. Also, it would be nice to see an HDMI port added in 2015 for $167. In general, don't look for a sub-$200 monitor. this is the one.
