UPDATED REVIEW: Light is ok. This review refers to the app you chose for it! I'm saving the best for last! 1. Settings cannot be saved. Colour? Yes. Brightness? #2. Terribly simple and terrible user experience. UI developer needs a new job.3. The alarm setting does not allow you to select a color or anything! You get the color that was set last. Period.4. Oh, it really shines! If you have two different devices, the app will take control of BOTH no matter how many times you disconnect! It always restores a different set just because it was discovered! No idea. Do not ask. So what does that mean, I have lights in my room. My roommate has light in her room. We both stumble upon each other's app and accidentally turn each other's lights on, off, use different colors etc etc. AND YOU CAN'T PREVENT THIS! So she gets up at 3am and turns on the light in her room, guess what! Now you're awake because yours are on now too! Absolutely TERRIBLE APP! I'll rip them off the wall and send them back to Revain, crumpled up nicely in a sticky ball. If you plan to ONLY buy a set of them, you'll be dealing with a lame app, but you'll get used to it. about it, I suppose. If you plan on adding more light later, stay away from this manufacturer! This company made good flashlights. But they ALSO CHOOSE this app to manage them! And at the same time, they completely ruined their product! ---------------- INITIAL REVIEW: The lighting is of good quality and the remote control, while basic, is adequate for basic use. The app, on the other hand, is bloody terrible and doesn't reflect light very well. The iOS and Android apps are identical in appearance and functionality. And the interface is just terrible. Don't let yourself choose any lighting options. I don't know if any other BT app can control these lights or not but as I'm using the app straight from its user manual you have to face the fact that it sucks and its otherwise nice led strip gives a really bad look gives!
