These 1/4" straps are the perfect size for headphone cords and other small cable management jobs. The 8" straps can accommodate a fairly long cable (12ft USB extender cable) Although they are long at 8" they are perfect for small jobs if cut a little too long. I'm used to 1/2" wide where I had to cut not only the length but also the width . . They are much easier to use. Like other Velcro bandages, they have pre-cut holes at the top to allow the strap to be threaded through. That way you can attach them to the cord so you don't lose them when they're not coiled up. Bins full of cords are also organized.
