Looks good and solid but the sound quality is poor. Sounds "tinny" like really cheap speakers. If you're old enough to remember small portable AM radios, it's the sound quality. However, when you connect it to some speakers, the sound quality is great. I keep the turntable because it looks nice and plays well, but I will always use external speakers with it. Buy a speaker set with RCA connectors if you want good sound quality with this item. The player comes with an RCA cable. I think you will be happy with the purchase if you can add some speakers.
