Amazing joystick, really "ultra modifiable "

This is an absolutely amazing arcade joystick! Having recently dabbled in fighting games like Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, and some older ones like Darkstalkers, I immediately saw the benefits of an arcade stick. I was overwhelmed by their selection and variety, but ultimately decided on this one because of my positive experience with the 8bitdo SN30 Pro Plus controllers. And I'm so glad I did! The stick is clicky and responsive. The whole block is a good weight as well as good grippy rubber feet to ensure it doesn't move while you're throwing Sonic Booms and whatnot. My only criticism of this arcade stick has to do with how it is marketed. The images here and on the 8bitdo website, as well as the company's response above, state that the device is "ultra-moddable" and show the device inside. This is great because the buttons are too soft for my liking and I wanted to replace them with GamerFinger buttons that use Cherry MX switches. BUT. One thing 8bitdo never mentions is that you need a torx screwdriver to open the flash drive to modify it, as all the screws on the outside of the flash drive use small torx torx screws, not the standard ones. Phillips or pan head screws. This means you won't be able to use "Ultra Modizability" unless you already have a Torx screwdriver in your toolbox. with a JLF-compatible octagonal slider for stick. However, the knobs marked 1P and 2P are 24mm knobs and I only had 24mm threaded knobs. There is not enough space in the stick to use the screw buttons, so I caution you against ordering the wrong buttons. All in all I am enthusiastic about this stick and can only recommend it!
