I don't use them for crimping beads, just small clasps to attach a bracelet clasp or crimp. It's just the right size and quality. It is a good buy for the price and unless you plan on crimping an electrical plug or coupler which requires a lot more work than this crimping tool, that's exactly what it should be used for.
