I don't use them for crimping beads, just small clasps to attach a bracelet clasp or crimp. It's just the right size and quality. It is a good buy for the price and unless you plan on crimping an electrical plug or coupler which requires a lot more work than this crimping tool, that's exactly what it should be used for.

Suitable for crimping microbeads but I find it difficult to use because it doesn't open wide enough. The pearl hardly fits. And it's useless to take them out. I bought another type to replace - sorry don't remember the brand and threw away the box - I also bought it on ebay. Anyway, as long as it suits the job, I don't like it. Not recommended.
