The size is small for American body. Refer to the size chart and measure yourself. I did it and it fits well. This is the first SUPER big thing I've ever bought. The lining is sufficient in the Pope. I was able to reduce the width of the padding in the crotch a bit. It rubs the inner thigh a little, but not much. All in all it's better than nothing. I may order another pair from a different manufacturer to see if there's something that fits ME better. Every rider is a little different and the shape of your bike seat can even make a difference. The problems I have are not worth returning. The other day I drove 54 miles relatively comfortably.
