Review on 📻 EMCOMM III PORTABLE CHA by Mark Callaham

Meant to be a portable antenna but I use it as a permanent installation in my home with limited access to HOA. Once installed, it almost disappears from sight. In my case, he flies out of a second floor window and runs to a tree in the backyard. It operates in azimuth from 30 degrees to 210 degrees and offers really excellent reception and transmission from northwest to southeast. The matching network is 2.0 to 1 at everything except 40 meters where it is 3:1. There I use the internal antenna tuner on my setup and it works great. Today after installing it, I was listening to PSK from Serbia here in Auburn, Alabama. That is 8703 km. Not bad for a wire antenna. But here's the really good part. When I received this the cable on the antenna was broken. I called the company and they sent me one the next day. Installed, delivered, very satisfied. I would recommend this antenna to anyone working in a limited environment and wanting to work on multiple bands. Visit the company's website to see the radiation patterns of these antennas.
