i really like this thing - it does what it's supposed to and does it well. It is very well made from solid materials. I took off a star for two reasons: 1) The rubber top cover and USB ports are not attached in any way. So if you screw something to the top screw, the cover spins, it's misaligned. 2) If you are using the USB connector while recording video, notice that a very bright blue LED will light up next to the USB connector. A simple fix, but since this is a video product it seems like a silly oversight to me. But a little tape and you're done :) In general, it's worth the money.
