The shorts themselves are good. The quality is good, I have nothing to complain about, but there is clearly no quality control with the ARSUXEO shorts with long mesh lining (built-in long underwear). In particular, the size of the mesh lining is very different from the ARSUXEO shorts of the same size. I have 4 pairs of shorts from this brand. The shorts themselves fit well and the sizing is consistent for different couples/styles. I must say that I am a woman and I understand that when I shop for men's shorts and body composition can affect size and style preferences. At 50 I can't stand the super short shorts that are sold to women. I love the 6 inch inseam for running and the long mesh lining is perfect for cycling. I have not found a similar product for women that is not too expensive. The size and quality of the mesh panels in these shorts are so far from making the gray pair almost unwearable (if that's the word). The mesh lining of the black shorts is VERY bulky - nothing like compression shorts but they are very comfortable. The gray pair (the current item I'm reviewing) has a mesh lining of a completely different material or thread count and is at least a size too tight (yet not compressible - the seam at the bottom of the mesh lining is tight and cuts into the legs) and the seams are incredibly uncomfortable. Also, the center seam (which should be in the crotch area) is placed oddly - the center seams of the mesh lining hang down very far, and this forces the rough seams into the back of the inner thighs - an odd feeling that won't go away. ensure a comfortable run. I suggest comparing the mesh liner in the pictures so you know what to expect. Or choose pairs without the long mesh lining, which is what I will be doing from now on.
