To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this, but I'll be damned if it doesn't live up to its promise. Precedent club car from 2010 with speed code 3, 22" tires and 6" lift. The cart moves up and down the slope at 15-17 miles per hour. It has an ADC motor. The magnet was ridiculously easy to install due to the lift kit. I found that the old one was broken! The car now still gets 15-17 uphill and maxes out at 21 downhill or flat. The magnet eliminates or suppresses regenerative braking, so use caution at first. For what little I paid for it, I'm VERY happy. Now all I have to do is get the car up to speed code 4. Update: It's going flat or downhill at 21mph, just step on the pedal and I get regenerative braking under 15mph. Unfortunately I have an old controller and I can't get Speedcode 4. :(
