Review on Lowrance Skimmer Transducer Mounting Bracket by Dwayne Calhoun
TERRIBLE gear. Best in Marine Electronics
Everything screws as it should, but when I screw the bracket into my case (in the correct size pilot hole) the head of the screw shears off. Serious?! CUT OFF. Lowrance was supposed to be in the electronics business and not even bother supplying hardware. Went to my local marine store and bought another $20 worth of proper stainless steel hardware just to give me peace of mind so this doesn't happen again.
