Review on Kamenstein Criss-Cross Revolving Tower: Enjoy 5 Years of Free Spice Refills in Brown, 18-Jar Set by Vanessa Harrison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great trivet but slightly offset and no extra tags

This spice rack looks great on my counter and is a great way to add standard spice jars to your existing collection - I found it contains all kinds of spice brands (everything I had before except a couple of giant jars - the ones that worked were Spice Island, Trader Joe, 1 oz Short Pantry Bottles, 365, Border, even dispensers with choppers on top). Any unusually wide can could still fit in the top row. My main issue was the labeling - the condiments that came with it had an odd assortment, heavily overloaded with things I don't use (pizza spice mix but no cinnamon). ? Indeed?). Looks like they intentionally included cheaper spices rather than healthier ones. It's okay, I was kinda expecting it, but I couldn't just reuse these jars or replace them with my existing jars without making my own, uglier duct tape labels. It would be great if the kit included a sheet or two of standard round stickers that fit both the spice jars that came with it and my own. when used horizontally on the counter, but is less tiring when the shelf is full and the weight of the spice bottles keeps it in place.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other trivets
