I am writing this because I have searched long and hard for a pet carrier to use when taking my 25 lb dog on a flight and information wanted to deploy to others in the same difficulty. Not much information, I read some reviews about it and decided to give it a try. This carrier worked very well! It was like the duffel bag sitting on top of my suitcase as I walked through the airport, floating to the ground with my dog inside. It was strong enough to hold my 25-pound Shiba Inu dog without bending over, while also being able to compress to fit under the seat on a delta flight. It was well ventilated and the flared sides and ends worked well allowing her to lay down and stretch out while she flew. In addition, it folds up well and is easy to store. Probably the only thing I didn't like were the side pockets with velcro to stash my dog stuff. They were easy to open and that's why I wish they had a zipper, but I'm willing to ignore that because overall it worked well for what we needed!
