Revainrating 2 out of 5

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

The model of the clipper that is currently in use When I say three months, I mean it. In order to replace the machine, which had been working reliably for nearly ten years, I decided to purchase a Scarlett SC-166. The "craftsman" in the sharpening workshop thoroughly destroyed the blades, causing them to lose their edge and become dull. I believe that I am able to make an objective comparison, and the conclusion is that the new one is not superior! So. 1. How is the combination of quietness and lightness accomplished? Weak and ponderous. I just want to give it a good shake to make it go more quickly. The box boasts that it is "POWERFUL," but all that is indicated is the operating voltage. I was unable to locate the location where the power is indicated. The previous model had 12 watts, but this one, based by how much it weighs, how slowly it operates, and how it sounds, has a lot less power. It would appear that the motor was designed by someone who works with youngsters. It seems that the use of miniature cutting knives can effect how quickly the haircut is completed. 2. The case is made of lightweight plastic, which does not give the impression that it is particularly durable. If you drop it, there is a good chance that it will shatter like an eggshell. In addition, the delicate nozzle that allows the user to alter the length of their hair will undoubtedly break. Despite the fact that the procedure of adjusting is undoubtedly convenient. 3. The power cord occasionally, but inconveniently, comes unplugged. 4. The consumer instruction manual is a sheet that is available in a variety of languages, but it does not provide any information that is actually helpful for utilizing the device. 5. Not only shears slowly, but also unevenly, which is worse. It does not sting and it does not tug on the hair, but for some reason, the cut hair is of varied heights, and it does not chop off any section of the hair at all. It is not helpful to make multiple passes. After getting a haircut, you should use a comb and scissors to make any necessary adjustments. The fact that we have been utilizing machines for more than ten years means that our level of experience and expertise is irrelevant to the matter at hand because this is already a component of the design. 6. A nozzle for adjusting the length of the cut hair is inserted into the cut hair. The overall impression that one gets is a dismal one.

Pros
  • low noise Cost that is not prohibitive Adjustment of the hair length that is convenient.
Cons
  • construction that is both sluggish and fragile The cord comes loose. Poorly cut hair a lack of proper instruction
