My main reason for 4 stars is the lack of a remote control. Then I could turn it on from my bed and get up when the room is warm! Another issue is that I bought this unit to fit in a previously purchased fireplace cabinet. While it fits, the controls at the top are about an inch+ from the top of the case. I've tried using a mirror and a flashlight to program it, but no dice. Thank goodness it has a flexible metal gas line! I ended up having to bring it to life, put it on the floor, read a book, turn it on and program it. While very few will meet my requirements, the device can not only be placed on the floor, but also mounted on the wall. If it is set very high, you will have the same display control problem. However, he did not dock for it.
