Review on 🔹 EBC Brakes USR7156: Enhance Performance with Sport Slotted Rotor by Michael Luna

To be honest I never expected upgrading my brakes to make such a HUGE DIFFERENCE. This is madness. I used to have bad brakes, deformed 10 year old stock brakes, old pads. I actually slid forward on a dry surface after my brakes locked up trying to stop quickly. I thought I needed to replace these guys and the store asked for $400. They're both $130 (I only replaced the front ones). It took maybe an hour to swap them both out. Used a screwdriver and rubber mallet to knock off the old ones (watched a few YouTube videos to find out). Paired with some EBC Brakes DP31636C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads. Couldn't be happier. My car can now stop incredibly fast. Basically, I can run a red light and SIMPLY stop before I get there. I was skeptical of how well they could improve my braking, I figured it would be something like "Well, either your brakes work or they don't." I used to feel like my brakes were struggling, most of mine Slowing down cars and keeping it going. Now it's a simple, simple speed reduction that gives 100% control. Where I used to feel like I was hitting the brakes with full force (which causes hot spots and rotor warping in the first place), I now have reserves of stopping power. 3-4 months later I still wasn't hitting the brakes as hard as I could (which I should have done before). Braking performance in the wet/snow has also been significantly improved. They also make a very cool "whoosh" sound when slowing down quickly, it's not very noticeable but I can definitely hear it when I slow down quickly (which I do a lot now). Couldn't be happier!
