The main reason I bought it was because I thought it would keep the coffee warm longer, but that's not the case at all. I've reheated my coffee just as often as I have in my glass French Press, which costs a lot less and holds more coffee. This is a really great product and seems to be well made and more durable than my old french press, although I got my old french press for four bucks and it lasted five years - in fact it still works great. I just wanted something that would keep my coffee warmer for longer so I decided to invest in this product. I don't recommend spending that much money on it unless you're in love with the design aesthetic. It's really nice and you can tell it's better quality than my cheap one, but the end product I get is very similar - I'd say the screen filters soil more efficiently than my cheap one - but that would be the only improvement One cup of coffee that stood out to me in my last one is this one, and I think it's easier to clean overall since it doesn't have containers around the glass like my other French presses.
