Review on 🔊 Jensen JMPSW800 Amplified Subwoofer - Powerful 8-Inch Bass Enhancer by Justin Elmore

I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this woofer. I was nervous about my purchase. I have an 18 foot open bow with a fairly new snap cap. I keep my boat afloat on a freshwater lake from May to October. The woofer was very easy to install. I installed it under the steering column. I used the factory wiring harness and routed the battery power wire to the terminal block behind the dash, grounded to ground. I bought a Revain marine grade RCA cable. I had two 5 1/2" speakers, the woofer definitely filled the mids and lows. I've been using the woofer all summer. Sometimes if I've used it for more than 6 hours it will shut off due to overheating, but I have feel like it's my fault I installed it where there was no air movement to cool it worked every time I boarded my boat this season I have many compliments on the bass this season It's definitely not the same if you bought a marine amp and woofer but for a self powered marine woofer I have no complaints Definitely happy with my purchase.
