Review on GermGuardian FLT5000 Carbon Filter for AC5000 Series Air Purifier - 4 Pack by Marco Cervantes

Can't tell if it's real. say it Next time will buy directly to see. If so, then that's fine. But like other reviews it's thinner than the one in the box and doesn't have velcro on the charcoal lining like the original. But it fits and holds well because the main cartridge filter has velcro. But it doesn't stick as well if there was velcro on both sides. (Activated carbon and cartridge filters). It's about twice as thin. So either they changed their quality or if you buy a unit with all the filters you will get a better quality carbon liner. Either way, it helps. Update: I called the guardian and spoke to him directly about this product and his hepa filters sold at Revain and they are legit. They told me they changed the design. They said they are more effective even though they are thinner. Hepa filters are also made from cardboard and not hard plastic, but rest assured they are genuine and work well just a different material from what you buy the unit from. She told me if you buy direct or through Amazon you will get a new thinner design. This is to help answer our questions about quality and knowing that this is a germ control product. And cheaper on Amazon. :) I told her that there were many questions and complaints about the new quality and it should be returned! lol But the product works great, in my opinion buyers don't worry.
