I hired an electrician to drill holes under the cabinet and walls to hide the wiring under the cabinet before my backsplash was installed. Almost everything didn't work in this set, which should have been a great feature for my new Maple kitchen cabinet. Bringing power and running wires through drywall and closets was expensive. I bought two triple led kits and a single led cabinet light and both triple led systems didn't work. First, the control button doesn't toggle on and off until you remove the square black LED cover and wiggle your thumb to find the hidden switch. There are 8 holes in the hub, but the plastic box is disassembled. 3M tape will not stick under cabinets after the light has been on for more than an hour. The micro screws are not magnetic so I used 3M tape to line up the drill slots under the cabinets and attach the micro screws. The screwdriver they sent is scrap for all wood cabinets. I finally figured out how to protect my investment of time and money. I keep ONE triple set on DEAL. I will only use LED panels and hanging hardware, NO controller. I decided that I should buy two more single LED panels from this company and then I will use the triple light panels to ADD two new single panels. The cost of two single bars is about the same as a set of three, so it works. So when I'm done I'll have three individual LED electrics and three additional 12" LED strips to place under my cabinets. Best of all, they all toggle on and off.
