Yes they are! 2) Can I install them so that they don't need a separate switch (actually always on) so I can plug them into a power strip and just turn the power strip on and off? The 3000K color temperature is great and seems even warmer when dimmed down to lower levels. If you're planning on plugging it into an existing outlet that's currently controlled by a wall switch, you might be disappointed.
