Amazing Item! All my life I've been a firm believer that Peugeot makes the best pepper mills. They've been doing this for maybe millions of years, made what they claim to be the best gear/grinding system, amazing durability (pass it down to your kids), etc. I bought a couple at Williams Sonoma priced from $75 to $155. However, I noticed a few things. The Peugeot has an adjustment screw, but not much will change. I could easily go superfine. And I could get very sure, but nothing in between. Also, it got stuck at times and required me to completely disassemble it. And it got even worse. Finally, a cheap metal latch emerged for the last time, attached to the base with two small screws. And it was impossible to fix it. When I first looked at the assembly, it was too complicated. I mention all of this because, as a unicorn, I had NONE of these issues. Super fast grind, very adjustable, great solid construction and I don't have to be fluent in French to contact the company. This coffee grinder instantly changed my kitchen for the better! Excellent product!.
