The Oumers universal bicycle chain tool is an easy-to-use, convenient and affordable bicycle chain tool that makes a great addition to any bike tool kit. It's built well enough to be used in your home bike shop, small enough to fit in your toolbox, but too big to try on the trail. The chain tool has a comfortable plastic-coated handle that helps hold it securely and easily remove pins from 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 speed bike chains. It comes with a chain hook to hold the chain together while a new pin is inserted into the chain. The tool also comes with an extra tool pen that is stored in the handle of the tool. If you've never used a chain tool to "break" a chain, don't worry, Oumer has included colorful and simple instructions with the tool. Be sure to read it. When using the chain tool, I was able to conveniently and effortlessly turn the large plastic knob and easily remove the chain pin. The overall impression of the tool, having used it to break and insert a new pin into my chain, is that it's pretty good value for money. I'm sure I'll need the Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool. However, this is most likely not a tool that will last more than 20 years. To do this, you need to spend three times more money. If you need a bike chain tool, the Oumers Universal Bike Chain Tool is definitely an affordable, easy-to-use, and great-value option. There are definitely worse alternatives.
