Good frittata maker.

This is one hell of a fryer. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Of course, I don't know exactly what a frittata is (too fancy for my patience), but I'm pretty sure that maker is right next to the definition of .Or if you open a dictionary. You can see my humor, just google it and understand that what comes out is very similar to what a frittata looks like. I think it has to do with why some people say it doesn't taste good. It's like a pancake without the crust. So yes, frittata. If you think about it, you will be very happy with the device. The eggs are sort of steamed/baked and really cook in about 10 minutes. The cleaning is great, as is the preparation. I've only used it once, so here are a few takeaways from my trial and error: 1) Absolutely don't overfill it. My cheese is overcooked. Nothing serious, just wondering what was hissing. O_o2) The amount of steam/smoke escaping the sides is alarming - your frittata is most likely unlit. But you can check it. 3) Ok my butt was on fire and I only cooked it for 9 minutes and 20 seconds (I used a timer, I'm not that anal). It seems overcooked where the cheese/ham was. 4) It turns out to be insanely thick, but when air gets on it, it deflates. It's still about 2 inches thick even after deflation. 5) Next time I will "layer" the ingredients so that the eggs are on the bottom (let them set), the retainers are in the middle (let them set again) and on top. with the last piece of egg. This is to prevent the eggs from burning because I hate burnt eggs. >: (6) Be sure to use some oil. Not because the stuff sticks, but because I just find it good practice to oil the eggs. Avoid burns. Take care of your devices guys. 7) Tastes like a frittata - I think. Or just a plump, tasteless egg. :) Don't get me wrong, it's good! Omelet cooked in a pan. At least not without milk. I'll try that next time.8) Oh, and the frittata recipes say to only beat the eggs and yolks until they've combined so the frittata doesn't fall apart when it comes out of the pan. Oven. I'll try this trick next time I make this frittata. I think that's it. Have fun with your frittata maker!
