I bought a Noctua U14s to replace my Enermax Liqtech TR4 360mm that had failed or was leaking through my GTX1080Ti and PSU for 2 months of moderate use (btw Enermax if you're reading this , Contact the customer support). it's terrible. Can never contact anyone). Although this air-cooled heatsink doesn't bring my CPU temp below 32C at idle. It does a very good job of keeping my 1950x below 50Β°C at 75% load. To be honest, I do a lot of virtual labs and flight sims (hobbies) and it rarely happens that my CPU usage exceeds 50%. The beauty of this fan/heatsink is that it is very quiet compared to the Enermax Liqtech 360 (Enermax sounds like a 777-300 sometimes cranking its GE90s to full power). For those in doubt whether liquid cooling or air cooling, try this Noctua U14, you won't regret it and you don't have to worry about your AIO liquid cooling system leaking all over your expensive rig. The only thing about this heatsink is that due to its size, it interferes with memory bank 0 or 4 on the Gigabyte Aorus X399 (I haven't had any problems, but for those of you who will be using all banks, this is what make a note)
