It's been a few months since I installed this. This is the second solar panel I'm working on, but I was looking for something more flexible that would fit on my dash and leave the heated side windows alone. If only it was perfect in my Honda SUV. I did not connect the MPPT with a 10 gauge cable with MC4 connectors. I want my battery to stay charged in my car. I'm getting readings of that 45 watts with a peak of 19.6V. Not bad for a 55 watt panel. I also have 60 watts, at 60 watts I get 46 watts and the peak is 20.8 volts but 60 doesn't fit on my dash and I took it home. 55w works great in my car, I'm happy, I plan to hook up an inverter and it should be fine, I could add another 55w. I climb onto the roof of the SUV. It was only 110 watts and it came out about 90 watts. Still not bad. I recommend to everyone: go and buy if you want to see more you can see me on my youtube channel ALBERTSVOICE SOLAR EVERYTHING ELSE. Where I live the sun hits my house and stays that way all day so the sun hits my dashboard at 6am to 7am and you can see how strong it is by the amount of sunlight in the attached video is.
