Superior Quality: Solar & Wind Power

High quality durable flexible panels. I bought two 50w panels to add to my existing boat system. I've read several experts saying that flexible panels don't last long. Can't comment on these as mine are new but I'm really impressed with them and think the quality will make them last longer than most. The fiberglass back makes them durable, the cells are highly efficient, and the surface is easy to clean. They're more expensive than other flexible panels, but I think that's the case if you getโ€ฆ

120W panel that produces only 33W in direct sunlight.

Only puts out 33W in direct sunlight. I originally bought this in May so my return window has expired. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could replace it. I tested my portable solar panel under the same conditions and it puts out 2-3 times more energy than this panel. I connected the battery directly to the panel to see if it was a 20ft extension. It's not like this. It produced the same, maximum 33W, connected directly to the panel. * UPDATE: I'm upgrading it to 4 stars now. The company

Real world power around 60% of rated power

I have four of these installed on my boat connected in parallel to a Renogy MPPT charge controller. In full midday sun I get about 60% of the nominal power with three of them. The fourth panel failed and was removed from the circuit. It has some layering on the top, so I tried turning it off and the overall performance didn't change. If I turn off any of the other three, the power output drops about 60 watts. I like that I can step on it barefoot if necessary while moving on the boat roof. They

The best for your SUV

It's been a few months since I installed this. This is the second solar panel I'm working on, but I was looking for something more flexible that would fit on my dash and leave the heated side windows alone. If only it was perfect in my Honda SUV. I did not connect the MPPT with a 10 gauge cable with MC4 connectors. I want my battery to stay charged in my car. I'm getting readings of that 45 watts with a peak of 19.6V. Not bad for a 55 watt panel. I also have 60 watts, at 60 watts I get 46 watts

The performance is too high

I bought two of these panels. Once "55 W" and once "100 W". I installed them on my 4runner's roof rack to charge the battery while my 50q ARB fridge was running. The panels were routed through a Victron MPPT controller and all numbers are based on sunny days with CO with high temperatures of 85โฐ-95โฐF. All of the days compared were in my work lot, where no trees or buildings would get in my way if I park there every day from 9am to 5:30pm. Before these panels I used a 30W panel from anotherโ€ฆ
