We originally intended to use this on our mountain bike. However, after seeing how well constructed it is, we decided to use our utility cage on our docked boat. The padlock and chain we have on the cage were cut and destroyed which was quite shocking to us as they seemed very secure. This lock is made of solid steel, very thick, heavy and durable. I think this lock will be more difficult to cut than a standard chain lock due to its width.
